MCFS STRUCTURE

If a student receives a place at Year 7 and is accepted into the Manchester City Football School after trialling, they will be able to select the Football School as an elective. As the MCFS is a yearlong elective, students will not be able to select other electives that run for students in Year 7.

Year 7 Manchester City Football School

Core Subjects

English, Maths, Science, Humanities, Religious Education, Languages (Italian, French or Japanese), Physical Education, Music Performance and DataWise

Manchester City Football School Elective

1 x 100 minute double period plus 2 x 50 minute single periods a week


In addition, students have Thursday afternoon sport periods which will be used for ACC trials and matches in Semester One.

Football School students are still free and encouraged to trial for any ACC Sport teams: Athletics, Swimming, Basketball, Hockey, Tennis, Cricket, Volleyball etc.

  • Only AFL and Badminton clashes directly with Football (Soccer).
